Ten years after the publication of AMAN - The First Decade, Basil was invited to produce a follow-up to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Amanresorts group of luxury hotels. The assignment took him from Thailand to Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, Morocco, France, the Turks & Caicos Islands, the US and China, where he photographed the 19 Aman properties illustrated in these pages. Since the book's publication a further five Amanresorts have opened.
